Not gonna lie I was eyeing these stocks for a while but went the chassis route instead. Turns out that was a mistake on my part. The chassis was great in many ways but I was building a hunting rifle and one I hike with a lot and the chassis just didn’t fit my needs. I snagged one of these that happened to be in stock and I’m so glad I did. It checks all the boxes and the ergonomics for me are great. It really feels like a perfect long range hunting stock. I had it mated up to my tikka action in less than 10 min and hit the range. Within a few rounds I was re zeroed and shooting nice little groups. Stretched it out and was making first round impacts from 500-870yds. I couldn’t have been happier. The tikka was an amazing shooter in its factory stock and the chassis, but this phoenix 2 is a great blend between the 2.
